Tan Cang P3 that belongs to Tan Cang Pilot LLC (Tan Cang Pilot) - Saigon Newport Corporation rescued and handed over 5 fishermen to the Border Guard of Ba Ria - Vung Tau port at 6:30 p.m. on August 14.

Previously, the Tan Cang P3 was on a mission near the bottom row of Cau Da port in Vung Tau when it received a notice and request from the Vung Tau Port Authority. on the search and rescue of fishermen in the area of ​​the bottom row of buoy No. 5 Vung Tau at 5:40 p.m..

Through information confirmation, the Royal 06 ship (nationality: Vietnamese) was anchored at the Vung Tau anchorage when it encountered a storm, the ship broke its anchor and drifted freely. During the drift, the Royal 06 ship collided with a fisherman’s shelter in Ganh Rai Bay, causing 5 fishermen on the bottom row to fall into the sea on the evening.

Under the command of Senior Lieutenant Bui Van Chuyen, the captain of Tan Cang P3 and the entire crew quickly moved to the search and rescue. The ship was on a journey and deployed the search and rescue plan, determined to overcome the stormy weather, with the spirit of helping the fishermen as the command from the hearts of officers and employees of Saigon Newport Corporation.

After nearly an hour in bad weather conditions, Tan Cang P3 sapproached and successfully rescued 5 fishermen. The location of Tan Cang P3 found the fishermen about 2 nautical miles from the bottom row. At 6:30 p.m., the Tan Cang P3 handed over 5 fishermen in distress to the Border Guard of Ba Ria - Vung Tau port in the best condition. After that, Tan Cang P3 continued to carry out the mission as planned.
